The Nurses Club "Lending Closet" is operated by the Arlington Heights Nurses Club. It provides durable medical equipment such as walkers, canes, wheelchairs, crutches, toileting and bathing assistance equipment at no charge for Arlington Heights residents.
The Nurses Club operates the closet on a volunteer basis, using equipment that we purchase or have received as donations. We also conduct fund raisers for this purpose. The Nurses Club acknowledges the generous contributions of the Arlington Heights Senior Center, Inc.
Residency Restrictions
Due to high demand, only Arlington heights residents are able to utilize this service. You will be asked to show address verification during the check-out process.
There is no fee but donations are gratefully accepted.
Length of Loan
Equipment is loaned for 3 months or less. The contract can sometimes be extended if equipment is available. Please contact us if necessary.
Location
Please use the Arlington Heights Senior Center staff entrance, located 85 feet west of the Senior Center's main entrance. To better serve our clients, we ask that you come by to pick-up or return equipment during our hours of operation, whenever possible.
